To revise a line from the show: "This show is a bother." An expensive, inconvenient affair that doubles my work, jangles my nerves, and reminds me, between the battles, how very blessed I am with these people. I never consider myself wealthy until I rise before this hearth each year. I gaze into the fire-lit faces of the actors I love, talented, helpful, and generous, and I am embarrassed by my riches. “Believe that the world is yours. Measure your riches by what you can give. Look to find hope in the hope you can offer. And know that, so long as you bring the world goodness, there is no hardship or obstacle you cannot overcome.” Merry Christmas to everyone!
